Export Your Video

If you want to use Premiere Pro’s built-in render tools adjust the following settings, otherwise, go to the render with Adobe Media Encoder section.

Render with Built-In Tools

1. Choose File > Export > Media from the top menu in Premiere

2. Pick your desired format in the Format drop-down. For example, choose H.264 to render a .mp4 file suitable for online video on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Tik Toc.

3. Click the link next to Output Name to change the name of the final video, and choose the location the video will be saved to.

4. For better quality you can turn on “Render at Maximum Depth” and “Use Maximum Render Quality” by clicking the checkboxes next to those settings. You can also increase the Target Bit Rate.

5. Click the Export button at the bottom of the window.

Render using Adobe Media Encoder

1. Choose File > Export > Media from the top menu in Premiere

2. Click the Queue button at the bottom of the window.

3. Click the link in the format column to change the format. For example, choose H.264 to render a .mp4 file suitable for online video on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Tik Toc.

4. Click the link in the Output File column to change the name of the final video, and choose the location the video will be saved to.

5. Click the green play button at the top right of the window to start exporting your video.
